Visa Exemption

In order to improve the relations Republic of Indonesia with other countries, need to given convinience for foreigners from certain countries, government spesific regions of a country and certain entities to enter and exit from territory of Republic of Indonesia which are carried out in the form of exemption from the obligation to have a visit visa.

Visit stay permit from visa exemption is given from immigration officials in immigration checkpoint for maximum 30 (thirty) days from the date entry sign is given.

  1. UU Nomor 6 Thn 2011 tentang Keimigrasian;
  2. Peraturan Menteri Hukum Dan HAM RI Nomor 27 Tahun 2014;
  3. Peraturan Menteri Nomor 17 Thn 2016 tentang TPI tertentu syarat dan tujuan kedatangan bagi orang asing yang mendapatkan BVK.
  1. Have a passport with validity period at least 6 (six) months
  2. Have a return ticket or a ticket to continue the trip to another country
  3. Excludes the detention list

Foreigner with Visa Exemption facilities will be granted Visit Stay Permit for 30 (thirty) days and can not be extended or be converted to another stay permit.

Foreigner who released from obligation to have Visit Visa can do activities like:

  1. Tourism;
  2. Family;
  3. Social;
  4. Art and Culture;
  5. Government visit;
  6. Provide lecturer or attend seminars;
  7. Attending international exhibitions;
  8. Participating in meetings that held with Headquarters or Representatives in Indonesia;
  9. Continuing Travel to Other Countries
